WOOT OFF -- Bag of CrapSubmitted by: Brian Hadley2008-11-12  I finally received my BoC from Woot.com that I was lucky enough to score during the last Woot Off. I scored a sweet JVC camera bag and an iGo electric duster. Nothing too special, but worth my $1. Besides waiting for the package to arrive and opening it is most of the fun. It's like Christmas for big kids.
For those of you who are not familiar with Woot.com and the famous Woot Off, here is a quick run down. Woot.com is a site that has 1 product that they sell each day. That in itself is pretty cool, because it is typically a pretty good deal on whatever they are selling, so if it is something that you want or need it is a good score. But every so often Woot.com decides to have what is called a Woot Off. These are really cool because they last for about 3 days, and what happens is, they put up an item for sale and then as soon as that sells out they immediately put up another item. It is quite exciting because you have to be ready when something you want comes up because they go quite fast. Now to the famous BoC. These are the prize items of the Woot Off and it is kind of an honor to get one because they usually sale out in about 10 seconds. The BoC is so exciting to get because it just costs $1 and then you have no idea what you are going to get. It could be a new mp3 player or a tv or some worthless crap, you just never know and you have to wait for the delivery man to bring the box to your door to find out what booty you have scored.
